On top of kemmrrer, I have to say that I just love how Brigid wrote the story as realistic as it could be. Maybe it stems from my dislike of Hunter, thus I dislike her by association?

Instead of following one of our hot Merrick boys, we follow the aspect someone equally as alluring- Hunter Garrity. This series definitely snuck up on me.
As of now, it looks like he’s here to stay and I’m happy to see it. I couldn’t be more happy with the way this book turned out. Eleental has always managed to interject a great dose of wit into her books and Spirit was no exception.
Not that he would allow it. Since I read this book in only two days I pretty much didn’t do anything but read. So I was really eager to pick up Spirit and discover the real Hunter who had been hiding for way too long.
Phew, I had to get that off my chest. Additionally, another issue I experienced was Hunter’s indecisiveness. And we also had some new folks into town. This third book of the Elemental series is something I wasn’t expecting to really like.

Kemmerer’s writing skills managed for us sympathise for Hunter whilst in Spark, we felt a wall begin to build and foundation solidly. In the end, everything fell into place, not the way Elemejtal expected them too, but still it was a good ending, a realistic ending.

Adding that, he most stop the rogue Elementals and try to prevent the coming of the Guides Hunter has a lot going on.
