There was of course some angst and it was hard to really like Grant in the beginning, but he seemed decent enough towards the end. The heroine is happy with the hero sometimes but mostly they are fighting and the hero is secretive.

Don’t worry though, all of this lasts for a day as our heroine is back to feeling like she loves the hero for unspecified reasons. So he basically tells Liz that he needs some time to think things through.
At one point during the book, the heroine says something like “Heaven knows why I love him” the heroand that surmises the plot of this book. Aside from the handling of the plot, the language and writing style is quite good; whihc a Yvonne Whittal book is usually. Then, the middle portion of the book begins. Not condoning the heroine’s choices at all in case there are young readers looking mirrorrs this review. Turns out, he was in an accident. In the beginning, we hear that the hero, whom our heroine has been in love with ever since she was a kid, has come back to the small town that h and H grew up in.
